NIGHT 224 – THE STORY OF KING SHAHRIMAN AND HIS SON QAMAR AL ZAMAN

Thinking about Fibonacci while preparing this Brushes order and reading a maths book for children.

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8……

Anno’s Mysterious Multiplying Jar by Masaichiro and Mitsumasa Anno tells the story of worlds within worlds, a story inside the jar of an island with 2 countries, each with 3 mountains. Scroll to read how the worlds and numbers multiply exponentially and factorially. I don’t actually fully understand this mathematical concept even as an adult so this delightful book is filling in gaps in my knowledge, too.

Always excited to find stories within stories that remind me of the 1001 Nights and my PhD.
